In order to successfully apply for a marriage license in Angelina County, the following items are required: 

• Both applicants must be 18+ years old unless there is a court order that authorizes the marriage

• Each applicant must show proof of identity and age (Driver's License or other valid ID card)

• Both applicants must be present unless there is a completed Absent Application Form declaring the absent applicant is a member United States armed forces and is stationed in another country for a military operation

• A completed marriage license application form

Couples that have completed a state-approved marriage class receive a $60 discount and waive the 72-hour waiting requirement to have a valid license.
