In order to successfully apply for a marriage license in Bailey County, the following items are required:

Each applicant must show proof of identity (such as a Driver's License or State Identification card)

Social Security Number (SSN)

Pay $82 marriage license fee

Be sure to call the County Clerk (806-272-3044) ahead of time to ensure there aren't any other requirements or appointments needed.

Couples that have completed a state-approved marriage class receive a $60 discount and waive the 72-hour waiting requirement to have a valid license.
