In order to successfully apply for a marriage license in Brazos County, the following items are required:

The couple must appear in person at the county clerk's office

If either applicant is not yet 18 years old, they should contact the county clerk's office before proceeding

Valid photo ID such as driver’s license, military I.D. card, passport, etc.

Pay $82 marriage license fee (cash or credit card, checks not accepted)

Couples that have completed a state-approved marriage class receive a $60 discount and waive the 72-hour waiting requirement to have a valid license.
