Bride and Groom. This is for you: Stop, Believe, Breathe

Updated: Feb 15, 2021

This is a simple yet powerful phrase of Dianne Morris Jones, a colleague facilitator of The Daring Greatly Workshops.

I share it with you today so you can practice it daily in anticipation of your big day. It is about being fully present in every moment of life.

STOP the rapid flow of thoughts running through your mind; thoughts that exhaust you, that speak to you of a reality that may never become yours. Stop them especially if they start with "What if......"

These kinds of thoughts are not anchored in the present, but in a future that does not belong to you yet. They usually indicate that you are anxious. It is understandable. You want everything to go right. There is a very special day ahead.

STOP the anxiety producing thoughts by breathing deeply for a good three minutes.

Direct your eyes to what works in your life: You have found each other!!

Stop and breathe. How does it feel?
